La Letra con Sangre Entra (introduccion & I ) / The Letter with Blood Enter (Intro & I)
Esta sección empezó hace diez años en las páginas de la revista La Cosa. Durante mucho tiempo me dediqué en ella a rastrear fragmentos de textos increíbles escritos con la mayor seriedad del mundo por gente que creía hacer verdaderamente un aporte a la sociedad. La idea es rescatarlos del papel por orden cronológico y, cuando se acaben, seguir con material recién hallado. Trataremos que la interferencia editorial sea mínima: los textos de por sí son increíbles.
Entonces, aquí empezamos:
"Antes de pedir algo piensa si ello es oportuno y razonable.
Para pedirle a tu madre que te acompañe al cine, has de enterarte, ante todo, si la película es adecuada para niños. Cerciórate si el estudio, los deberes escolares o alguna otra obligación no te reclaman el tiempo que dedicarás al espectáculo.
Fíjate si los quehaceres y atenciones de la casa no impedirían a tu madre acompañarte.
Reflexiona en todo esto antes de hacer tu pedido, a fin de que él no resulte impertinente.
Con tal sistema, incorporado a tus hábitos, avanzarás en tu perfeccionamiento; no impondrás a tus padres ni a otras personas solicitudes impropias y te evitarás penosas negativas."

ENGLISH VERSION
This section began ten years ago in the pages of La Cosa magazine. For a long time I used it track fragments of incredible texts written with the greatest seriousness by people that believed that they do truly contribute to the society with them. The idea is to rescue them chronologically and, when they be finished, to continue with material recently found. We will try to put a minimal editorial interference: the texts in and of itself are incredible.
Then, here we go:
"Before asking something, you must think if this is opportune and reasonable.
To ask your mother to accompany you to the movies, you should inform, above all, if the movie is adequate for children. Assure yoursefl if study, schoolwork or some another obligation dont demand you the time that will dedicate to the movie.
Look if the tasks and attentions of the house wouldnt impede your mother to accompany you.
Think in all this before asking for your petition, in order to that this do not turn out to be impertinent.
With such system incorporated to your habits, you will advance in your improvement; not impose to your parents or to other people improper requests and will avoid you arduous refusals."
